This is our favorite place for anniversary dinners and special date nights. You certainly get what you pay for so it's always a very high quality dinner with great service. We love the lighting and the location and makes for a great gem in Salem OR. Service is always pretty quick and the drinks are done perfectly as well. If we want a quiet night we will sit at a table, if we are feeling a bit more relaxed and casual we will head for bar seating which is usually always full because it's definitely some good vibes in there.
I have yet to have a bad meal in this place. When I want a great steak I always come here.
Been here a few times with different sizes groups. Most recent was Friday evening at 5pm. The resturant was packed and seemed to get busier(makes sense as it is Friday night) so plan to have a reservation or wait some time. We came with a group of 5 and took about an hour for the food to come out but it did come out all together. Everyone liked their food and was happy with their selections(they raved about the salmon and steak). Definitely a nice little date night or special occasion spot.
Went for an early dinner. Decided to get a reservation and I'm glad I did. We arrived at 5:10 for a 5:15 reservation and we were seated right away. The hostess was polite and Amber, or server was super sweet. The eating space was quiet and pleasant. It appears they have covered outdoor seating which might be pleasant on a mild day. It was 82 degrees out on the day we went and I was happy to be inside. I ordered the 12 oz. filet mignon and she ordered the seafood melt. Both dishes were hot and looked good upon arrival. The filet was cooked perfectly. The flavors were delightful. This is not a cheap place to eat, but as the adage goes, you get what you pay for. The quality was outstanding. It was a no technology outing so no photos... sorry. I'll be back for sure.
When: Sunday March 31st; Parry of 2 Adults. Another year, another wonderful Easter Brunch celebrated at Rudy's. My Prime Omelet was absolutely delicious with melt in your mouth prime Rib bites. My wife, who has a sweet tooth, anytime of the day, thoroughly enjoyed her Apple Cinnamon French Toast. It was all hands on deck for service. We were greeted and served promptly with a courteous and cheerful staff. The ambiance was your typical classy Rudy's dining experience. It was a wonderful Easter Brunch experience that I look forward to next year.
